26 Years of Life

I was born in 8th of January, 1982 (Just 26 years after Bill Gates and 40 years after Stephen Hawking was born) in Chittagong, Bangladesh at the Railway Hospital. It was Thursday. I grew up in Chittagong, Bangladesh. In the middle of my childhood I was in Comilla for three years due to my father posting.

We were living at Thakur Para Bagan Bari. It was the most amazing time of my life. I had great fun with all of my neighbors. I still remember those days when we were used to innovated new games, riding bicycle and many more.  Ceaseless laughter, truancy and fun of unaccountability nourished every single part of my life.

After moving back to Chittagong, we started living in Shador Ghat, Chittagong. It was a middle class area, therefore, was full of characters. I was got admission in Sent plasid High School. My regular routine life was awful at that time. I had a lot fun with my best friend Shuvo. The age of our friendship is now 25 years.
I went to Kinder Garten in Sadorghat, Chittagong for my primary education. It was a total disaster. I refused to go to school at the age of 5 but unfortunately my mom was a teacher of that school. So I had to do some sort drama that I was sick. I clearly remember that my acting talent was successful most of the time.
I finished my primary school at the age of 11. To my surprise by the time I was in the last year of school, I was the best student in the whole year. I still don't have a clue how that happened. But my luck changed for better, and I wasn't going to complain about it.

After complete ion of class eight final examination, I had to leave my favorite school due to my parents’ weakness about government institution. I had to go through an admission test, and I got through. Started my high school in Chittagong Govt high school, it was undoubtedly best part of my life. Here I learned, what the friendship is all about. The school was established in 1906, it is one of the oldest schools in Chittagong. The school had a massive area with all the facilities which would rival any school in any country in the world. All the facilities were at my disposal- I took up the opportunity. I was vice- captain of the school cricket team.

My initial results at the school were somewhat messy, which included really embarrassing marks in the maths exams. My parents opted for private tuition and I went to Safa sir for private tuition. I chose to continue my study in business related subjects, and my results started to improve.

During this time we also moved house to Momin Road, Chittagong. It was 1996. It was a nicer area, I made a lot of friends again but it was never the same as Thakur para Bagan bari.

I was up for the Secondary School exam with view to be the good student in the Chittagong Education Board which had over 18,000 students. But my overconfidence therefore lack of study, cost me the place and I only managed to get First division in the board. It was shocking but I managed to forget the pain.

I was awarded by the Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation Mr A B M Mohiuddin Chowdhury, my school and few other small organisations.

I was get the chance to admited in a renowned public college in Bangladesh. I went to Govt. college of Commerce for the Higher Secondary education. It was a really brief period -only 16 months. I made some really good friends there. Since it was one of the best colleges in Bangladesh, I met some extra-ordinary students again.

My Higher Secondary Certificate exam was not good but not bad. During my HSC exams my grandmother who used to live with us and my grandfather passed away, so it might have had an adverse affect, but still I managed to get good marks.

I applied at Chittagong University for BBA Program; I had to go through a written test to get admission in CU. The competitors were in huge number, only 300 students were got the chance from 16000 students. I was one of them. I would not write anything about CU, because it itself a biography. Only thing I can say that I had a lot……..a lot fun, nice memorable experiences, and had great friends. In short I can’t explain the memories of CU.

Now I have completed my graduation in the year 2007. I am continuing my MBA study from the same institution. And at the same time I  also looking for a challenging job for which I can sacrifice my study. I believe I can fulfill my dreams Inshallah. Details of which will be updated on my blog
